Must-read! "A Clintonite in Denver."

Clinton urges support for Obama at Española rally.

Senator Hillary Clinton urged support for Barack Obama at a rally in Española on Sunday, August 17, that drew hundreds of local Democrats. She thanked the crowd for the support many of them had shown her during the primary campaign and urged her supporters to "work as hard for Senator Obama as you worked for me."

The event drew many heavyweights in the state Democratic Party, including Governor Bill Richardson, Lt. Governor Diane Denish, U.S. Representative Tom Udall, U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman, and 3rd Congressional District candidate Ben Ray Luján, who introduced Clinton.

OBAMA SPEECHES, NEWS ARTICLES, ETC.
Berlin. That's all I have to say.

Barack will lead a new foreign policy based on restoring America's military strength and global respect, cooperating with allies, and reversing failed Bush policies

With all the questions about FISA, check out this blog on the Obama website that includes Discussion with Policy Staff.

Check out this video of Barack speaking to headquarters staff and volunteers in Chicago after winning the nomination. He's talking to us too! "What a magnificent position to find yourselves in, where the whole country is counting on you to change it for the better. These moments don't come along very often... So we've got to seize it."

This video was recommended by Harold Neal, one of our Grassrooters from Chicago. It's Barack on This Week with George Stephanopoulous on Mother's Day a year ago. Harold's description of the show is "it is sort of 'Obama Intro 101' very relaxed , wonderfully presented." See for yourself.

ISSUES
And, in a new category called ISSUES, you'll find a very informative article from The Nation that asks...How antichoice is John McCain? Let's leave the psychological tea leaves out of it and look at his record. Another thought provoking piece. (Disclaimer: the author is not related to Gaye Pollitt.)
